The electric pedal assist come in the form of the Bafang 250w centre motor with 5 levels of pedal assist with smooth power input via a torque senor allows the rider to build a fantastic level of confidence while riding the trike. Combining the superb Bafang centre motor with the 3 speed Shimano nexus hub gears the Alpine Premium Folding Trike will have more than enough power to take the rider up even the steepest of hills and the rider will always be able to find the right combination of pedal assist and gears to select. Whatever shape and size you are, there will always be a comfortable riding position for you. The seat is height adjustable and the handlebars have a versatile adjustment system ensuring a sit up and beg or a lean forward position can be achieved when riding this trike. The 24" wheel at the front along with the two 20" wheels at the rear of the trike means that the maneuverability of this trike really is second to none and the rider can literally turn on a sixpence. A front light and two rear lights (one on each rear mudguard) keeps the trike illuminated whilst riding in darkness or lowlight, these lights work from the main battery. A USB socket can also be found on the battery should the rider wish to charger their mobile phone from the trikes battery while riding the trike. Top of the range Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are found on all three wheels to give this trike unbelievable stopping power while all the time maintaining a smooth and comfortable ride. Additional Information
